Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for commercial applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum algorithms for 2026 industry challenges
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize quantum processor designs
- Develop security frameworks for quantum-resistant cryptography systems
- Present research findings at international technology symposiums
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum programming best practices
- Drive quantum computing adoption through strategic partnerships with Fortune 500 companies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years experience in quantum algorithm development or quantum architecture design
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Strong background in high-performance computing and parallel processing
- Excellent presentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences
