Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Develop error-corrected quantum circuits and optimize qubit coherence times
- Collaborate with research teams to translate quantum algorithms into production-ready systems
- Ensure quantum system security and compliance with NIST quantum standards
- Lead cross-functional projects integrating quantum-classical hybrid systems
- Document quantum architecture blueprints and performance benchmarks
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and present findings to executive stakeholders
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience in quantum computing or high-performance computing
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong background in linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and information theory
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket, Azure Quantum)
- Proven track record of leading technical projects in R&D environments
- Published research in quantum computing or related fields preferred
