Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures for commercial deployment by 2026
- Develop error-correction protocols achieving >99.9% fidelity in multi-qubit systems
- Create hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for real-world optimization problems
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and computer scientists
- Secure $50M+ in research grants from DARPA and NSF initiatives
- Author patents on quantum communication and encryption methods
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum error correction or algorithms
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Experience with cryogenic systems and superconducting qubit manipulation
- Track record of leading quantum computing projects with measurable outcomes
