Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits and topological systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Integrate quantum-classical hybrid systems for real-world problem-solving in logistics and drug discovery
- Drive research in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing systems
- Collaborate with government agencies on quantum security protocols for critical infrastructure
- Present breakthrough findings at premier conferences like IEEE Quantum Week and Q2B
- Develop patentable quantum computing methodologies with commercialization potential
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years of quantum computing experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and quantum circuit design
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals on quantum algorithms or hardware
- Expertise in cryogenic systems and quantum control electronics
- Experience leading quantum computing projects with budgets exceeding $1M
- Strong background in machine learning and high-performance computing
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex quantum concepts into business applications
