Responsibilities
- Design quantum algorithms and error-correction protocols for industrial applications
- Lead integration of quantum-classical hybrid systems in cloud environments
- Develop quantum-resistant cryptography frameworks for financial services
- Present quantum roadmaps to C-suite executives and government agencies
- Mentor a cross-disciplinary team of physicists and software engineers
- File patents for novel quantum architectures (average 3/year per architect)
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years developing quantum algorithms or quantum error correction
- Published research in Nature/Science journals or equivalent impact
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or other quantum frameworks
- Experience with superconducting or trapped-ion qubit systems
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex concepts for non-technical stakeholders
- Security clearance (or ability to obtain) for DoD projects
