Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Architect hybrid quantum-classical computing architectures
- Lead quantum error correction protocol development
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize qubit connectivity
- Develop quantum machine learning frameworks for enterprise applications
- Publish research in Nature/Science journals and speak at IEEE Quantum Week
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and establish best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with 5+ years experience considered)
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Experience with quantum circuit optimization and compilation
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence and error mitigation
- Strong background in linear algebra and computational complexity
- Proficiency with cloud quantum platforms (AWS Braket, Azure Quantum)
- Track record of translating theoretical concepts to practical implementations
