Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures for commercial applications
- Develop error-correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize qubit connectivity and coherence times
- Create quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and simulation
- Lead cross-functional teams in translating theoretical models into practical implementations
- Conduct performance benchmarking and system validation
- Present research findings at industry conferences and peer-reviewed journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in quantum computing or high-performance computing
- Expertise in quantum algorithms and error correction techniques
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
- Experience leading technical projects and mentoring teams
- Published research in quantum computing or related fields
- Knowledge of cryogenic systems and quantum hardware architectures
