Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for complex optimization problems in finance, logistics, and AI
- Lead cross-functional teams of quantum physicists, software engineers, and domain experts
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Architect hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for enterprise applications
- Secure patents for proprietary quantum methodologies and publish in top-tier journals
- Advise C-suite executives on quantum adoption strategies and ROI projections
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum computing principles and ethical implementation
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven track record of publishing in Nature/Science or equivalent peer-reviewed journals
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Quipper)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Experience with quantum hardware (IBM Q, Rigetti, D-Wave) and cloud quantum platforms
- Strong background in machine learning and high-performance computing
- Exceptional problem-solving skills for NP-hard computational challenges
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts for non-technical stakeholders
