Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures leveraging superconducting qubits and photonic systems
- Develop error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum processors
- Lead cross-functional teams in implementing quantum algorithms for real-world applications
- Research and integrate emerging quantum technologies including topological qubits
- Create quantum-classical hybrid computing frameworks for enterprise solutions
- Present architectural blueprints to C-suite executives and venture partners
- Author technical whitepapers and contribute to IEEE quantum computing standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with exceptional experience considered)
- 5+ years experience in quantum computing architecture or superconducting system design
- Published research in Nature/Science journals or equivalent peer-reviewed publications
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq) and simulation frameworks
- Experience with cryogenic engineering and quantum control systems
- Strong background in topological mathematics and quantum information theory
- Proven track record of delivering quantum computing prototypes in industrial settings
