Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for enterprise-scale applications
- Develop quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning problems
- Lead cross-functional teams in integrating quantum accelerators with classical HPC systems
- Establish quantum security protocols and zero-knowledge frameworks for data protection
- Research and mitigate quantum decoherence effects in multi-qubit systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum gate operations and error correction
- Drive patent development for quantum computing innovations and methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Quil, Cirq) and quantum circuit design
- Proven track record in developing quantum algorithms for optimization or cryptography
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction codes (surface, color, LDPC)
- Familiarity with quantum hardware platforms (superconducting, ion trap, photonic)
- Experience with quantum-classical hybrid computing frameworks
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Strong background in linear algebra, group theory, and quantum information theory
