Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum algorithms and error-corrected architectures for commercial applications
- Lead integration of quantum-classical hybrid computing systems
- Develop fault-tolerant quantum processor blueprints targeting 10,000+ qubit systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams on cryogenic control systems and photonic interconnects
- Create quantum security protocols for post-quantum encryption standards
- Present breakthrough architectures to Fortune 500 partners and government agencies
- Mentor quantum software engineers on algorithm optimization
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics/Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years designing quantum circuits with demonstrated qubit coherence >1ms
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface, color, LDPC)
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum computing breakthroughs
- Proficiency in Q#, Qiskit, or Cirq frameworks
- Experience with superconducting or trapped-ion quantum processors
- Strong background in topological quantum computing concepts
- Track record of commercializing quantum technologies
