Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum algorithms with error correction rates < 10⁻⁹
- Lead quantum hardware-software co-design for hybrid quantum-classical systems
- Develop quantum security protocols resistant to 2026-era cyber threats
- Mentor a team of 5 quantum engineers and physicists
- Secure $500k+ in quantum computing R&D grants
- Collaborate with IBM, Google, and Rigetti on quantum cloud integration
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years implementing quantum algorithms on real hardware
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit optimization
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum error correction
- Security clearance for government quantum projects
- Experience with quantum machine learning frameworks
