Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits and topological systems
- Develop error-correction frameworks for fault-tolerant quantum processors
- Lead integration of quantum algorithms with classical high-performance computing stacks
- Collaborate with AI/ML teams to develop hybrid quantum-classical workflows
- Establish quantum security protocols for post-quantum cryptography systems
- Drive patent development for novel quantum hardware innovations
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum physics principles and engineering practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Engineering, or related field (MS with 8+ years experience)
- 5+ years experience with quantum computing frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Expertise in superconducting qubit design and cryogenic engineering
- Proficiency in quantum error correction codes (surface, color, LDPC)
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience with quantum machine learning algorithms and applications
- Strong background in high-performance computing architectures
- Security clearance eligibility preferred
