Responsibilities
- Architect scalable quantum computing solutions for enterprise clients across finance, healthcare, and logistics
- Design error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum processors
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing hybrid quantum-classical algorithms
- Validate quantum hardware performance through rigorous simulation and real-world testing
- Secure patents for novel quantum circuit topologies and optimization techniques
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit)
- Present breakthrough research at IEEE Quantum Week and industry summits
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years of industry experience
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum error correction or entanglement
- Proficiency in quantum circuit design tools (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Experience with superconducting qubit platforms (IBM Q, Rigetti) or trapped-ion systems
- Strong background in complex systems engineering and high-performance computing
- Demonstrated ability to secure $1M+ in quantum research funding
- Fluency in Python, C++, and quantum machine learning frameworks
