Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Architect scalable quantum computing systems with 100+ qubit coherence capabilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum error correction and hardware-software integration
- Develop patent-pending quantum protocols for enterprise clients in finance and healthcare
- Present breakthrough research at premier quantum conferences (Q2B, IEEE Quantum Week)
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum theory and experimental methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with exceptional experience considered)
- 5+ years in quantum algorithm development or quantum hardware design
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum computing
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Experience with cryogenic systems and superconducting qubit manipulation
- Track record of translating theoretical models to functional prototypes
- Security clearance for government quantum initiatives (preferred)
