Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum architectures with 1000+ qubit coherence
- Develop error correction protocols for fault-tolerant operations
- Create hybrid quantum-classical workflows for enterprise clients
- Lead quantum algorithm optimization for pharmaceutical simulations
- Collaborate with hardware engineers on cryogenic system integration
- Mentor junior quantum scientists in research initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience in quantum circuit design or quantum error correction
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum programming frameworks
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum computing
- Experience with superconducting qubit systems or ion traps
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
- Security clearance preferred for government projects
