Responsibilities
- Design and optimize quantum computing architectures for enterprise-scale applications
- Develop error-correction protocols and quantum circuit optimization strategies
- Collaborate with quantum algorithm specialists to implement novel approaches
- Create technical documentation and performance benchmarks for quantum systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and testing quantum hardware
- Stay current with emerging quantum technologies and industry standards
- Present research findings at international quantum computing conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with 8+ years experience)
- 5+ years experience in quantum computing architecture design
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience with superconducting qubit systems or topological quantum computing
- Strong background in high-performance computing and parallel systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex concepts
