Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum-resistant cryptographic frameworks for enterprise systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum algorithms for AI optimization
- Architect hybrid quantum-classical computing pipelines for real-world applications
- Conduct research on quantum error correction methodologies
- Collaborate with government agencies on quantum security standards
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum programming best practices
- Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and industry conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years experience in quantum algorithm development or quantum-resistant cryptography
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong background in distributed systems and high-performance computing
- Published research in quantum computing or theoretical computer science
- Experience leading technical teams in agile environments
- Deep understanding of Shor's algorithm and quantum supremacy challenges
- Security clearance or willingness to obtain government-level clearance
