Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Architect hybrid quantum-classical computing systems for enterprise clients
- Lead quantum hardware integration projects with superconducting and photonic processors
- Develop quantum error mitigation protocols for practical deployment
- Collaborate with AI teams to create quantum-enhanced neural networks
- Publish research in peer-reviewed journals and present at major conferences
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and lead technical workshops
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in quantum computing architecture or algorithm development
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerance techniques
- Strong background in distributed systems and high-performance computing
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, AWS Braket)
- Published research in quantum computing or related fields
- Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders
