Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for commercial and research applications
- Develop quantum algorithms to optimize machine learning models and cryptographic systems
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers
- Integrate quantum processors with classical computing infrastructure
- Document architectural specifications and conduct performance benchmarking
- Collaborate with R&D teams to identify new quantum applications for 2026 market needs
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Quipper, Qiskit)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Proven track record in designing complex computational architectures
- Familiarity with cloud quantum services (AWS Braket, Azure Quantum, Google Quantum AI)
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and quantum information theory
- Experience leading technical projects with cross-functional teams
