Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits and photonic systems
- Develop error-correction protocols for quantum processors operating at 99.9% fidelity
- Lead cross-functional teams in integrating quantum accelerators with classical HPC infrastructure
- Create quantum algorithm blueprints for optimization problems in machine learning and materials science
- Establish quantum security frameworks for post-quantum cryptographic systems
- Document quantum system architectures and publish research in IEEE/ACM journals
- Collaborate with government agencies on quantum standards development for 2026 implementation
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum error correction (QEC) algorithms
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and simulation frameworks
- Track record of deploying quantum systems in production environments
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation techniques
- Experience with cryogenic engineering and quantum control systems
- Published research in quantum computing or related fields (arXiv, Nature Quantum)
- Strong background in high-performance computing architectures
