Responsibilities
- Design and prototype quantum algorithms for cryptography, optimization, and machine learning applications
- Lead the development of fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits
- Collaborate with AI research teams to integrate quantum-classical hybrid systems
- Present breakthrough findings at international quantum computing conferences
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and establish best practices for quantum software development
- Secure patents for novel quantum computing methodologies and hardware innovations
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent industry experience)
- 5+ years of experience in quantum computing or advanced quantum research
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Q#, Cirq) and circuit optimization
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing principles
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Strong background in linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and computational complexity
- Proven track record of leading technical projects and cross-functional teams
