Responsibilities
- Architect quantum-safe encryption protocols for financial and defense sectors
- Lead development of hybrid quantum-classical computing pipelines
- Optimize quantum circuit designs for NISQ-era hardware constraints
- Collaborate with MIT and Caltech research partners on quantum error correction
- Define security standards for post-quantum cryptographic systems
- Mentor cross-functional teams in quantum algorithm implementation
- Present quantum computing roadmaps to C-suite executives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Cryptography, or related field (MS + 8 years experience)
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum error correction
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum circuit optimization frameworks
- Deep understanding of Shor's and Grover's algorithm implications
- Top-secret clearance or ability to obtain (DOD projects)
- Experience with AWS Braket or Azure Quantum platforms
- Proven track record of deploying quantum-resistant systems
