Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits and topological quantum systems
- Develop error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum processors operating at 99.99% fidelity
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation applications
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate quantum processors with classical computing infrastructure
- Research and implement novel quantum networking solutions for distributed quantum computing
- Establish security frameworks for quantum-resistant cryptography systems
- Present breakthrough findings at industry conferences and peer-reviewed journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years of quantum computing experience
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface codes, LDPC) and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and simulation frameworks
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals or conferences
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems and quantum control electronics
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical quantum concepts into practical implementations
- Strong background in high-performance computing and parallel processing
