Responsibilities
- Architect quantum computing systems with >99.9% fidelity for commercial deployment
- Design error-correction protocols to overcome quantum decoherence challenges
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization problems
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and AI specialists
- Secure $50M+ in government grants for quantum R&D initiatives
- Author white papers on quantum supremacy applications for 2026 industry needs
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature/Science) on quantum computing
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum programming frameworks
- Proven track record of scaling quantum systems from prototype to production
- Deep understanding of quantum machine learning and NISQ-era limitations
- Security clearance eligibility for government quantum projects
