Responsibilities
- Architect scalable quantum computing systems using superconducting qubits and photonic processors
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum operations at scale
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers
- Design quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation applications
- Establish security frameworks for quantum-resistant cryptography systems
- Partner with industry leaders to implement quantum solutions in finance and healthcare
- Publish research in leading journals and present at international conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in quantum hardware/software development
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Experience with cryogenic systems and quantum control electronics
- Strong background in high-performance computing and parallel processing
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical implementations
