Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for 2026-era applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum algorithms for cryptography, optimization, and simulation
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to bridge quantum software-hardware integration
- Establish industry standards for quantum security protocols and certification frameworks
- Present quantum computing roadmaps to C-suite executives and government stakeholders
- Pioneer hybrid quantum-classical computing paradigms for real-world deployment
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information science principles
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent research experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or quantum algorithm development
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes and fault-tolerant computing
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Strong background in cryogenic systems and quantum hardware interfaces
- Experience securing $10M+ in quantum research funding
