Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum processors with 100+ qubit coherence
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Create hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization problems
- Lead quantum security frameworks for post-quantum cryptography
- Collaborate with hardware teams on cryogenic control systems
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals
- Mentor junior quantum engineers in emerging technologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience in quantum algorithm development
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum SDKs
- Published research in quantum error correction
- Proficiency with superconducting qubit architectures
- Strong background in topological quantum computing
- Experience securing $1M+ research grants
- Fluency in Python, C++, and assembly-level optimization
