Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits and photonic systems

- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists and engineers to build quantum hardware prototypes
- Optimize quantum algorithms for real-world applications in cryptography and molecular modeling
- Establish industry benchmarks for quantum supremacy and computational advantage
- Secure $10M+ R&D funding through NIH and NSF grant proposals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in quantum hardware/software development
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum systems
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Proven track record of securing federal research grants
