Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits and topological quantum systems
- Develop error correction protocols and quantum error mitigation strategies for large-scale quantum processors
- Collaborate with AI research teams to integrate quantum machine learning algorithms into production systems
- Lead quantum software development teams to optimize quantum algorithms for NISQ-era hardware
- Establish quantum security frameworks for post-quantum cryptographic systems
- Research and evaluate emerging quantum hardware technologies (photonic, trapped ion, etc.)
- Present quantum architecture roadmaps to C-suite executives and venture partners
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum algorithm development (QAOA, VQE, Shor's algorithm)
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and high-performance computing frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction codes (surface codes, LDPC codes)
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems and microwave control electronics
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals (Nature Physics, PRX Quantum)
- Strong background in machine learning and classical HPC optimization techniques
