Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for enterprise-scale applications
- Develop quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning problems
- Lead cross-functional teams in implementing hybrid quantum-classical systems
- Research and mitigate quantum decoherence and error correction challenges
- Partner with hardware teams to optimize qubit connectivity and control systems
- Create technical documentation and quantum security protocols
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and drive innovation workshops
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with exceptional experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing research or industry implementation
- Expertise in quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, VQE) and error correction
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Q, Rigetti, D-Wave)
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability, and information theory
- Published research in quantum computing or related fields preferred
- Certification in quantum cloud platforms (AWS Braket, Azure Quantum)
