Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures with 100+ qubit stability
- Develop error-correction protocols for practical quantum advantage by 2026
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum algorithm implementation
- Partner with hardware teams to optimize quantum-classical hybrid systems
- Drive R&D initiatives in quantum materials and cryogenic engineering
- Present quantum computing roadmaps to executive stakeholders and investors
- Contribute to open-source quantum frameworks and industry standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or advanced system design
- Published research in quantum error correction or fault tolerance
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum hardware constraints (superconducting, ion trap)
- Proven track record of leading complex technical projects
- Strong background in high-performance computing and parallel systems
- Experience with quantum simulation and verification methodologies
