Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum circuit architectures for fault-tolerant computing systems
- Lead development of hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for enterprise applications
- Optimize qubit coherence times and error correction protocols in cryogenic environments
- Collaborate with hardware teams to define quantum processor specifications
- Develop security frameworks for post-quantum cryptographic systems
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and publish research in IEEE journals
- Partner with Fortune 500 clients to deploy quantum solutions in production
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in quantum algorithm development or quantum hardware design
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Proficiency with cryogenic systems and quantum control electronics
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
