Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures leveraging qubit topologies for 2026-era applications
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization and simulation challenges
- Lead quantum error mitigation strategies achieving fault-tolerant thresholds
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors and control systems
- Create quantum software development frameworks accessible to non-specialist developers
- Drive quantum security protocols resistant to 2026-era cryptographic threats
- Mentor cross-functional teams in quantum computing principles and applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum error correction
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and frameworks
- Strong background in quantum hardware including superconducting qubits or ion traps
- Proven track record designing complex technical architectures
