Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures using Qiskit and Cirq frameworks
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum algorithm implementation
- Research novel quantum applications in drug discovery and financial modeling
- Optimize quantum circuit performance through hybrid classical-quantum approaches
- Present findings at international quantum computing conferences
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum physics fundamentals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience with quantum programming languages (QASM, Q#)
- Proficiency in superconducting qubit manipulation and cryogenics
- Published research in Nature/Science journals preferred
- Strong background in machine learning and parallel computing
- Certification in IBM Quantum or Google Quantum AI
- Experience with quantum cloud platforms (Azure Quantum, AWS Braket)
- Security clearance for DoD projects a plus
