Responsibilities
- Design and optimize quantum algorithms for practical industrial applications
- Collaborate with physicists to model quantum systems and error correction protocols
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for real-world deployment
- Lead research initiatives in quantum machine learning and cryptography
- Translate theoretical quantum computing concepts into scalable software solutions
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum programming best practices
- Publish findings in leading scientific journals and industry whitepapers
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS with exceptional experience)
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Strong background in linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and computational complexity
- Experience with NISQ algorithms and error mitigation techniques
- Published research in quantum computing or related fields
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical implementations
- Excellent communication skills for cross-disciplinary collaboration
