Responsibilities
- Design and optimize quantum circuits for Shor's and Grover's algorithm implementations
- Develop error-correction protocols for NISQ-era hardware limitations
- Collaborate with hardware teams to calibrate qubit coherence times
- Create hybrid quantum-classical machine learning frameworks
- Document algorithms in Q# and publish in Nature Quantum Computing
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum complexity theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS with 5+ years experience)
- Proficiency in Q#, Cirq, or Qiskit frameworks
- Publication record in IEEE Transactions on Quantum Engineering
- Experience with quantum annealing systems (D-Wave, Rigetti)
- Understanding of topological quantum computing concepts
- Clearance for government-funded quantum projects
- Knowledge of post-quantum cryptography standards (NIST PQC)
