Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms leveraging AI optimization techniques
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing error-corrected quantum computing prototypes
- Publish groundbreaking research in top-tier journals and conferences
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to bridge quantum-AI system integration gaps
- Secure $2M+ in annual R&D funding through grant proposals

Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years research experience
- Proven expertise in quantum error correction and variational algorithms
- Publication record in Nature/Science or equivalent quantum-AI journals
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit optimization frameworks
- Experience securing federal grants (NSF, DOE, DARPA) or corporate R&D funding
- Demonstrated ability to lead high-stakes technical projects from concept to deployment
- Strong background in parallel computing architectures and distributed systems
