Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum machine learning models for real-world optimization problems
- Develop novel error correction techniques for fault-tolerant quantum computing
- Lead cross-functional teams in translating theoretical concepts into production-ready solutions
- Publish groundbreaking research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Secure $5M+ in government and corporate research grants
- Mentor PhD candidates and postdoctoral researchers
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum-AI hardware interfaces
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years postdoc experience
- Published research in quantum machine learning or quantum algorithms
- Proficiency in Python, Qiskit, and quantum circuit optimization frameworks
- Expertise in tensor networks and quantum simulation techniques
- Strong background in AI/ML (PyTorch/TensorFlow) and high-performance computing
- Experience with quantum hardware (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, or D-Wave)
- Track record of securing competitive research funding
- Exceptional problem-solving skills in complex multi-variable systems
