Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for AI optimization problems
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing hybrid quantum-classical neural networks
- Develop error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum computing systems
- Publish research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Secure patents for quantum machine learning methodologies
- Mentor PhD researchers in quantum information science
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design next-gen quantum processors
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (postdoc preferred)
- 5+ years of quantum computing research with peer-reviewed publications
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Proficiency in machine learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow)
- Demonstrated experience with quantum error correction techniques
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
- History of securing research grants (NSF, DARPA, etc.)
