Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for machine learning applications
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical neural networks for next-gen AI systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in translating theoretical models into practical solutions
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Collaborate with government agencies on national quantum security initiatives
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to our patent portfolio
- Present findings at international conferences including Quantum Computing Summit
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong background in machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch)
- Publication record in quantum information science or AI research
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, etc.)
- Ability to work with complex mathematical concepts (linear algebra, quantum mechanics)
- US citizenship or permanent residency required for government projects
