Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum machine learning algorithms leveraging 50+ qubit systems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical neural networks for exponential speedups
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum-optimized AI solutions
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Secure $1M+ in government/private quantum computing grants
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum-AI convergence methodologies
- Architect fault-tolerant quantum processors for 2026 deployment
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Machine Learning (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on quantum algorithm development (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Expertise in tensor networks and quantum error correction
- Published research in quantum machine learning or topological quantum computing
- Proficiency in Python/C++ with high-performance computing frameworks
- Experience securing DoE/DARPA quantum research grants
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams of 5+ researchers
