Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum machine learning algorithms for NISQ-era hardware
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical neural network architectures
- Optimize quantum circuits for AI acceleration using Qiskit and Cirq
- Lead research on quantum-enhanced data compression and pattern recognition
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum AI processors
- Publish findings in top-tier journals and present at international conferences
- Secure external funding through NSF and DARPA grants
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, PennyLane)
- Expertise in machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and classical AI
- Strong background in quantum information theory and algorithms
- Publication record in quantum machine learning or quantum computing
- Experience with quantum hardware integration (IBM Q, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and high-performance computing
