Responsibilities
- Develop novel quantum algorithms for AI/ML optimization and pattern recognition
- Design error-corrected quantum circuits for large-scale machine learning tasks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions into existing AI frameworks
- Lead research initiatives in quantum neural networks and quantum-enhanced data analysis
- Publish breakthrough findings in top-tier journals and conferences
- Secure external funding through NSF and DARPA grants
- Mentor junior researchers and drive quantum education initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of experience with quantum algorithms (QAOA, VQE, Grover's variants)
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, PennyLane)
- Strong background in machine learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow)
- Published research in quantum machine learning or quantum information theory
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing
- Experience with high-performance computing and parallel processing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
