Responsibilities
- Design and implement hybrid quantum-classical AI algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Develop novel quantum error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum computing systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum solutions for real-world industrial applications
- Publish breakthrough research in peer-reviewed journals and present at global quantum/AI conferences
- Architect quantum neural networks and quantum machine learning frameworks
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors optimized for AI workloads
- Drive strategic partnerships with academic institutions and quantum hardware manufacturers
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field with 5+ years research experience
- Expertise in quantum algorithms, quantum information theory, and quantum machine learning frameworks
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and classical AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch)
- Published research in quantum computing or AI with demonstrated impact on field development
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
- Experience with high-performance computing environments and distributed quantum systems
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with ability to abstract complex quantum concepts
- Proven track record of leading research initiatives from concept to prototype
