Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum-AI algorithms for optimization and pattern recognition
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, ML engineers, and domain specialists
- Develop scalable quantum neural network architectures using Qiskit and Cirq
- Secure research grants and publish in high-impact journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Collaborate with NASA, IBM, and MIT on quantum-encrypted communications
- Translate theoretical models into practical applications for finance and healthcare
- Mentor PhD researchers and drive innovation roadmap for 2026+ systems
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Theoretical Physics, or Machine Learning
- 5+ years experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Q#) and deep learning frameworks
- Published research in quantum machine learning or top-tier conferences
- Expertise in tensor networks and quantum error correction techniques
- Proven track record of leading R&D projects with measurable outcomes
- Strong background in linear algebra, complex analysis, and information theory
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
