Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum machine learning algorithms for real-world applications
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, data scientists, and software engineers
- Develop predictive models for complex systems with 99.9%+ accuracy
- Collaborate with academic partners on quantum-AI hybrid architectures
- Secure $5M+ in research grants from NSF, DARPA, and private foundations
- Present breakthrough findings at IEEE Quantum Week and NeurIPS
- Drive ethical AI frameworks for quantum applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Machine Learning, or Physics (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years researching quantum algorithms or advanced AI systems
- Published work in Nature/Science or top-tier ML conferences
- Proficiency with Qiskit, TensorFlow Quantum, and quantum circuit optimization
- Expertise in high-performance computing and distributed systems
- Experience securing government research grants
- Strong background in ethics of emerging technologies
- Track record of mentoring research teams to breakthrough results
