Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum machine learning algorithms for complex system optimization
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical models for real-world industrial applications
- Contribute to patentable innovations in quantum neural networks and error correction
- Present findings at premier conferences (IEEE Quantum Week, NeurIPS Quantum Track)
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, PennyLane)
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent research experience)
- 3+ years experience with quantum computing platforms (IBM Q, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Proficiency in Python/C++ with quantum libraries and high-performance computing
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature Quantum, PRL Quantum)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerance protocols
- Experience with AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow Quantum, PyTorch Quantum)
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability, and information theory
