We are at the precipice of a new era in computation. Aether Dynamics is building the infrastructure for the post-silicon era, and we are looking for a visionary Quantum AI Architect to lead our research division into 2026 and beyond.
In this role, you will bridge the gap between classical machine learning and quantum computing, designing scalable algorithms that solve problems currently deemed impossible for traditional supercomputers. You will work directly with hardware engineers to optimize QPU (Quantum Processing Unit) performance for deep learning workloads.

Responsibilities
- Design and implement hybrid quantum-classical neural networks for large-scale inference tasks.
- Lead the architectural roadmap for our next-generation quantum AI stack, ensuring compatibility with future QPU generations.
- Optimize quantum algorithms for error correction and noise mitigation in real-world environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of physicists, software engineers, and data scientists to integrate quantum solutions into cloud platforms.
- Conduct cutting-edge research on variational quantum eigensolvers (VQE) and quantum approximate optimization algorithms (QAOA).
- Establish best practices for quantum data security and encryption protocols.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent significant industry experience in advanced computing.
- 5+ years of experience in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, or AI, with a specific focus on quantum computing.
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks such as Qiskit, Cirq, or Pennylane.
- Deep understanding of linear algebra, complex analysis, and probability theory.
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (AWS Braket, Azure Quantum, or Google Cloud Quantum AI).
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor junior researchers and drive technical vision.
