Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum-AI hybrid algorithms for enterprise-scale optimization
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, ML engineers, and domain specialists
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Translate theoretical quantum models into deployable cloud-native solutions
- Secure patents for breakthrough quantum machine learning methodologies
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum computing best practices
- Collaborate with academic partners on DARPA-funded quantum initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computational Mathematics
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum machine learning
- Proficiency in TensorFlow/PyTorch with quantum circuit integration
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and topological qubits
- Experience with AWS Braket or Azure Quantum cloud platforms
- Strong background in algorithm complexity theory
- Security clearance preferred for government-contract work
